Dear members: The other day while I was talking with my dog, something came up to my mind that maybee can be interesting to discuss with experts like you.

The idea is a little bit complex to explain it in english for an spanish spoker, so I deside to made some direct cuestions that maybee some of you can help me to find the correct answer:

We all in school learn thet the antrophomorphic vew of the devises that we made in prosthetics is very important, but it is prooved in many cases that the stetics many times decreases the functionality, or the performance of the devises... In this cases we can talk about the lower limbs for the atlets who dont use any cosmetics because it dont help for the performance of the devises.... before this relative new fashion we have the hooks, in the upper limb prosthetic. This devises dont seems to be too cosmetic, but they are the must functional.

The cuestions are:

1.- Arent we looking to the wrong point trying to made more antrophomorphyc cosmetically devises instead of looking to the aceptance of the amputee condition?

2.- What patients ( customers or how ever you wnt to named the people whom you work) do yo conssidder that get a better rehabilitation thinking in all the concept of the word, the people who use a cosmetically antrophomorphic devise, or the one who try to made more things in logic depployment of the the cosmesis of the divise?

3.- Do you think that the psycologyest think in this kind of stuff?

At this moment, I think that the aceptance of the person condition is mor accurate to my own point of view to the definition of rehabilitation. Of course, it is more difficult to work with a person in this way, but who knows!

I really appreciate that you take your time for reed this lines, and I will appreciate more if you can post an answer of your point of view... any one!

Maybee you can help to my dog and I to sove this crisaes :-)

Warm regards from Mexico!
