Dear Colleagues,
The latest ASME Biennial Mechanisms and Robotics Conference,
<URL Redacted>, featured the premiere of the Symposium on
Mechanisms and Devices for Medical Applications. As opposed to the
Mechanisms and Robotics Conference, this symposium is to take place
annually, the next one September 2001,
<URL Redacted>. I
attended the 2000 conference including the symposium with great pleasure and
therefore like to bring it under your attention.
For your information, the contributions are to have a technical orientation,
not necessarily synonymous with a sequence of formulas, and preferably
contain generalizable notions. Full papers need to be submitted by January
26, 2001, which will be reviewed by three to five reviewers. In the latest
conference, about 60% of the submissions was accepted for presentation and
publication in the CDROM proceedings. More information is found on the
websites mentioned in the original posting below.
Cordially,
Just Herder.
