At Arizona State University we are currently undertaking a project to build
an upper limb prosthetic that can be built out of materials readily
available in the third world. We would like to gear the design our device
for use in labor intensive occupations like farming, construction,
carpentry, etc. We would like to interview upper limb amputees who work in
these kinds of trades to find out what they like and dislike about their
protheses. Of course these people do not necessarily have to be from the
third world. This interview can be done via e-mail as the questionairre is
in printed format. Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
