Dear Listservers,
No-one wants to admit to making an inflateable bed resting orthosis. This is a shame 'cause it was a pretty handy product, as shown by the number of people who wrote wanting more details. We ended up making our own which didn't work quite as well, but sufficed. Here's how (pay attention it's pretty difficult).
Buy a floatie ( childs swimming aid - goes around the upper arm) - cut along the seam where it has been joined together
- there's your inflateable part. Sew up a cover (we used neoprene) to make it more comfortable and allow attachment of velcro closure straps, and it's done - adjustable, wearable, washable and cheap.
Bye
