Thank you all for your recommendations in finding colored fabrics when
laminating prosthetic sockets for artificial limbs. I received approximately
50 responses.

Overwhelmingly the recommendation is to have the patient go to their local
fabric store and pick out there preferable pattern. Some felt any fabric
would do. Again most recommended Spandex and or Lycra material. One should
test the fabric out before attempting to laminate a socket. Clear resin
should be used which allows the pattern to be displayed. Set up lamination
slowly, so the heat does not darken the finish.

A few companies were mentioned to call:
   1. Rehabilitation Technical Components, 1-800-782-5678. (They are
sending me samples to show patients).

   2. IPOS North America, 6 rolls per size and color, 4 to 6 weeks to
deliver. 1- 800-626-2612 . Ask for S. Selch.

I am sure there are more companies that may provide this material. So call
your local supplier.

 Thank you again.
