Received this email this morning and was wondering if anyone out there
can help this person.

I am Alvaro Rios, student of Electronic engineering on thesis of the
Javeriana University ( <URL Redacted>) of Cali-Colombia, my
degree work consists on a microcontroller system for the control of
myoelectric prostheses with sensorial feedback using fuzzy logic. I
have
been investigating already several years ago about acquisition of
myoelectric signals and myoelectric prostheses and even participate as
speaker in the World congress of Biomedical Engineering in Niza in the
year
1997 presenting the first part of the investigation, because I find very
interesting this field of application of the Electronics and I plan to
continue studying a Master science. of Biomedical Engineering.
My interest is to return the amputated patient the perception and the
propioception from the lost member to minimum costs.
In this order of ideas, I write to you to request their support in the
stage
of implemented of the system facilitating me a myoelectric prostheses
of
hand or myoelectric trainning arm that this under bad conditions but
that it
works and that it serves me as prototype or even alone the hand without
the
control system.
I appeal you because I have not been able to get the necessary
technology in
my country to develop the hand and my economic resources are not many.
The purpose of this project is only academic and the results of the
project
(for example: planes, prototype and models) they could be used by your
company without any problem.
If you can collaborate me they can send me all the additional conditions
and
that you would need to change.
I thank them ahead of time their collaboration.
