Hi All
To Joe Carideo, CP, FAAOP comments, 50% off components prices are not a big
deal. My humble opinion is that the real cost is practitioners labor. For
the last 15 year I have not order any plastic from any OandP supplier, cause
one bad piece will cost our office the price of the whole order. Maybe some
suppliers are better now, but I don't want to take the chance. It's a little
harder but we always tried to get the item straight from the manufacturer.
Just because it might be a little harder for the front office is no reason
to get bad materials or a bad price.
Improving our delivery systems is the only way to reduce total cost, and
that is by reducing the practitioner labor cost. This 50% discount is a mute
point, and glad hanger is going that way, instead of trying to improve
patient satisfaction.
HGR is now down to 4.25 per share
