Dear Mr. Benner, (oops, Mr. Benner, Esq.)

Heard any good lawyer jokes lately ? ? I have. Your letter, or at least most of it.
Your profession obviously operates much differently than mine. Heard any good orthotist or prosthetist jokes lately. I haven't. That says something right there.
You claim the Helix brace was the best brace you ever received. Great, that proves my point even more. Think how many post-polio patients all over the world could benefit from the knowledge and procedure this group has. And have they shared it with the medical profession ?? Not that I recall. In fact, hardly anyone on this O&P list-serv had ever heard of this helix till an RTO from N.Carolina asked about it, and then was rudely insulted by one of the four inventors for having no right to even ask about it.

To quote me,. . . market of gimmicks, hoax, flim flam . . . etc. I made no direct mention of the helix brace or the VirtualGait Group, but if the shoe fits . . . . . . .

I'm glad you restrained yourself from getting petty with me. I guess that's lawyer talk.

This entire subject is about O&P ethics, which has nothing to do with whether these people made you a good brace. (orthosis)
