Hi,
My name is Amanda, and I'm a student at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison in the sports medicine program. I'm doing research for a
presentation that I'm to give in a couple of weeks. I'm interested in
learning more about considerations or complications that an athletic trainer
should be aware of when caring for athletes with lower extremity amputations
(skin irritation from prosthesis, injuries due to compensation, etc...). If
you can help me out, I'd be very thankful. Any information you have, or
links you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks again!!
