Title:
Trans Femoral Amputee about to climb in the Himalayas for a Good Cause
Text:
Dave Franke is an AK amputee who is departing April 29th for a climb in the
Himalayas.
Please see his web site at www.limbank.org
Climbing the highest mountains in the world is an incredible feat for someone
with both legs intact.
It is even more remarkable for those with symes and BK amputations.
But, to be an transfemoral amputee, and knowing the work and inherent
problems involved at this level of amputation, makes the effort even more
amazing!
His primary goal is to raise money and awareness for a non profit
organization dedicated to bringing prosthetic help to Nepal and other
developing and underserved countries.
Sincerely,
Mark Benveniste CP
