Hello

I have just been presented with a gentleman who has undergone a total knee
replacement in Nov. 1999. Through poor management he has now developed a
knee flexion contracture of 35 degrees. The ortho surg wants a constant low
load, prolonged stretch knee orthosis for this fellow. Added to the
situation is the fact that he is in a wheel chair for a significant portion
of the day which negates any sort of extension turnbuckle idea in the
popliteal fossa. I'm trying to find a joint similar to the dynasplint one
which I can build into the orthosis I'm making. Does anyone have any idea
where these types of joints (or something that'd do the trick) can be
located?

TIA
