The following are a couple of comments I received on my noise posting.

Chris,
Enjoyed your information immensely.
I experienced the same problem with a patient/client just the other day.
6' tall, 225 lbs. active, elderly gentleman.
After a few months in the aluminum endo, more popping, clicking noise
than
and old car. I changed him to stainless steel pylon adapters and thicker
alum. pylon....voila...all noise stopped.
You just proved what I had surmized.

The one that I've used is the Endolite tube, but you must rough up the
end
that goes in the tube clamp. That's the only way I've stopped the
rotation.
I haven't had problems with the 30, or the 34 mm.
