Re my original posting:

Looking for an acl orthosis referred to as a rodeo brace. This KO has less
componentry on the proximal medial surface than most.

Thanks in advance

I did find the device, but not thru O&P-L. One of my peers here in Michigan
knew about it. The Rodeo Brace is a version of the Performer from Ortho Tech.

The medial corner of the proximal thigh section is moved to the anterior
midline, much as on the CTi.

Thanks to all!

Ted,

I know not what a rodeo brace is! However when I lived in West Texas I used
a generation 2 KO with a single lateral bar for a women how competed in
barrel racing. She also need a brace she could use on horse back. This seam
to work for her.

Many doctors are using the SofTec by Bauerfeind. 800-423-3405

Greetings from Houston, Texas. The home of the worlds best Rodeos that
last 2 full weeks, with a different top name performer every night.

In answer to you request for a knee orthosis for one of these bad boys. I do
not know of a Rodeo Knee Orthosis as such, but I would use an adjustable
Generation II O/A design K.O. for this type of a patient. I think it would
be a perfect match.

Let me know what you decide! How is good ole Jackson, Michigan these days?

Hope this helps,

Robert A. (Bob) Bangham, C.O., L.O.
