DESENSITIZING RESIDUAL LIMBS- A SURVEY
This questionnaire is part of a student research project at The University of
Texas Southwestern Medial Center, Dallas, for partial fulfillment of the
requirements for a degree in Prosthetics-Orthotics. The purpose of this
project is to determine the appropriateness of an experimental research
project concerning the desensitization of residual limbs in the treatment of
amputee stump pain. Participants in the study will remain anonymous.
Respondents will not be identified with the results.

Please select all, copy, paste and return responses to
<Email Address Redacted> I will post the results to this survey (& the hard copy
version) if number of responses dictate; otherwise I will respond to
participants only. This O&P List survey is an interesting aside to the hard
copy surveys given to respondents of convenience in 3 geographical regions of
the United States. Thanks in advance!

        separate from phantom limb pain.

10) I believe stump pain is worsened by touching
the stump during the first four weeks

11) The occurrence of stump pain an amputee experiences
