Alpha Liner by Ohio Willowood

he Otto Bock one is dark blue nylon on the outside. I don't think - and have
never seen one that is nylon lined inside and out -- I would think that the
nylon on the inside would decrease the suspension ability of the liner. So I
think they must be confused. - Stephanie Langdon- Bash CPO, FAAOP

USMC has their version of the OWW Alpha Liner called the Luxury Liner,
It's dark blue in color, has distal attachment like the Alpha Locking Liner,
however has fabric only on the outer surface.
Best of luck on your quest!

HI,
You may be looking for the Luxury Liner, provided by USMC. They do a lot
of advertising in amputee magazines; it's essentially the same as the Ohio
Willow Wood Alpha Locking Liner though.
Hope this is helpful.....

a few posibilities, however I don't think I have ever seen a liner with
fabric on the inside that would not allow for a vacuum seal needed for
suspension.
A Luxury liner has a blue outer surface and locking pin and is a verson of
an alpha liner with a different cover - I belive both are sold by SPS
our original profiles were sold with a dark blue cover and locking pin The
cover has change form blue to black or tan - sold by TEC and SPS
I have never seen a maroon colored production liner.
Another possibility, if your patient saw it on another amputee is that it
was custom made. My old facility made custom silicone liners from 10 layers
of strech nylon and Otto back laminating silicone, because it was custom we
could put any color inside or out.
I hope this helps, I can't think of any others although there may be more.
If you have any other questions please call.
