Re: Summary of responses

Text:

I believe the summary format is the best way of posting responses to
inquiries. If a profound idea surfaces, you should reply confidentially to
the sender and ask permission to contact the author of such response or have
him/her contact you directly. If answers must be predicated upon
authoritative reply, isn't that being a little narrow minded about the real
issue of problem solving? Frankly, on occasion I have seen some pretty
clever answers come from suspecting sources. On more than one occasion I
have asked for permission to contact a particular respondent. I have also
replied to questions with specific instructions not to release my name,
except privately, to my response. If someone wants to contact me privately
to discuss a particular view, I will almost always respond. There are times
when I simply don't want to be involved with or bothered by all the group BS
that passes through the pipeline. I have no problem hitting my delete key
either. I realize that, perhaps, one man's BS is another man's bliss.
