Dear list members,

RE: Thin film pressure measuring equipment

I am currently developing finite element models to investigate the
interface stresses of transtibial liners and sockets. I am now at a point
where I would like to validate my models but I have a problem locating the
equipment I need to do this. Ideally I would like to use some kind of thin
film pressure sensors eg. Tekscan, as I want to measure the interface
stresses between the liner and the limb, however we do not have the
resources to buy this equipment. Does any know of any organisations which
have this kind of equipment in the UK, or any other equipment/methods I
could use ?

Thanks
Christine Fisher

(If anyone is interested in this area I would beglad to provide more
information.)
