Amputees of AMP-L and Colleagues of OandP-L,

A coworker client/patient of mine wears a Symes prosthesis with a
Flex-Foot Low Profile Symes foot. Her footshell is very badly
worn and she wanted it replaced. Upon ordering the footshell
from Flex-Foot, I was told that the ladies' model footshell has
been discontinued.... only the unisex model (wider than the
ladies') is available. She wears a Right, size 24 ladies
footshell.

I ordered the Carbon Copy II footshell, same size, etc., and this
is also too wide. Each of the two footshells we ordered is too
wide for the shoes she has always worn.

Do any of you have a source for narrow, ladies' profile
footshells? Has anyone else encountered the same problem?

If there are a bunch of good answers I'll post a summary of
responses.

Thank you all for your help,

Bill Lifford, CP
