Just for the record, the Wexler bill refers to CAHEA standards, not CAAHEP.
This is a serious flaw, since CAHEA, a former committee of the AMA that
accredited allied health programs, is defunct. It was replaced in 1994 by
CAAHEP. The Harkin bill, while silent on specific educational
requirements, sets ABC certification as the standard. ABC educational
standards are based on CAAHEP.
