The Prosthetic Orthotic Center at Helen Hayes Hospital, an Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Institute, has a current opening for an Orthotic technician.
Helen Hayes Hospital is a 155 bed specialty facility is located on the Hudson River 35 miles north of NYC, 10 miles from the West Point Military Academy and is affiliated with the New York Presbyterian Hospital network. The Prosthetic Orthotic Center provides services to all disabilities on the Inpatient and Outpatient level. We also have two Offsite Clinic offices.
All fabrication is completed in-house with two other full time technicians on staff. Professional staff include four Certified Prosthetists / Orthotists and one resident Orthotist/Prosthetist. The Center has a complete CAD-CAM system which it utilizes for the fabrication of both preparatory and definitive prostheses.
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and enjoys working in a team oriented setting. Minimal technician experience required, willing to train.
