Could someone please let me know if there is any literature on the
population of amputees who do not wear prosthetics and their reasons for
doing so. My boyfriend has recieved his first prosthetic last week. He is a
below elbow Right arm amputee. I realize he may just be experiencing initial
frustration but right now he can not understand the importance of a
prosthetic. I would like to be able to find some literature for either side
of this argument.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
