Gel Liner Engineering challenge?

Title:

Gel Liner Engineering challenge?

Text:

Colleagues and Manufacturers,

I am glad to see the presence on the market of expulsion valves and, more
recently, expulsion valves incorporated into shuttle locks. These devices in
conjunction with gel liners and sleeves make an excellent suspension and
interface choice for many amputees

I am located in a hot climate and we have seen that many amputees continue to
sweat into their liners after several months.
It occurs to me that if the liner itself had some way of expelling the sweat,
then there would be more comfort and less irritation and the sweat could then
be vented outside the socket.

So, perhaps reinforced holes or maybe multiple micro holes, can be integrated
into a liner to allow porting of the perspiration.

Is this feasable?
