Be carefull (consumer beware) in recruiting professional assistance for
patients requiring any bracing treatment options.
The O&P industry is nonregulated in the U.S.A and practitioners are not
required by law to have any formal educational training in this field to
provide this type of treatment or for that matter any other O&P service.
A handlefull of states have state regulation requirements in place!Always
insist on recieving the practitioners educational qualifications and patient
references.
