Apparently the phantom pain reference I sent was on Medscape and not a
link to elsewhere. Sorry. You can, however, now sign on to Medscape for
free. Just go to their web site via a search engine and fill out the
info to allow you to become a member and to receive a summary list of
topics via e-mail (like the below), to which you can then go to get the
details. The e-mails are few and not burdensome.
The ref was:
GABAPENTIN MAY ALLEVIATE PHANTOM LIMB PAIN
The anticonvulsant gabapentin shows promise in treatment of phantom limb
pain, reports Dr Christopher M Herndon of Texas Tech University Health
Sciences Center in Amarillo.
