Compilation of ankle motion responses

Description

Title:

Compilation of ankle motion responses

Text:

Colleagues,

I am still receiving answers to my post about ankle motion. I look forward to
hearing from prosthetists as well as patients who have experience with
articulating feet and non articulating feet and pts who have had regular and
shock/torque absorbing pylons.

There are a few references that have been given to me about articles written
on the topic of ankle motion and shock/torque absorbing pylons.
I will track them down, but I think the older articles may be of limited
scope and that more recent information is needed.

Many responses to my post have supported this as a valuable question.
Several people have suggested that these are exactly the kinds of topics that
should be coming up in the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics. I
absolutely agree.

I also look forward to hearing from the instructors/researchers at the
various prosthetic teaching and research institutions around the world.

Respectfully,
Mark Benveniste CP
