Dear listmembers,
As I am renewing my homepage about partial foot amputation
<URL Redacted> , I also tries to update the link
DOCUMENTATION as a list version 3. I attach this attempt and I am glad
for all comments and still more for complations.
I hope the new version of the homepage in English vill be ready for the
net at the end of this year. My Swedish version is already sent.

Documentation about partial foot amputation
List 3

This is an attempt to register texts concerning studies about
particularly technical problems and solutions for partial foot
amputees. The aim of the registration is to support professionals,
students and amputees in their efforts to increase their knowledge in
this area.
Following up printed material in journals, books etc. has its evident
limits. In this case - beside my personal limits - the access to
relevant sources has language barriers. English is the dominant
language. Some other common languages - not to speak about small ones
- are rarely or never
at all represented here.
Mostly only texts printed after the year 1980 are registered. You may
also be indulgent towards the inconsistency in the material, which
depends on presentation of the material from different sources. However,
these limitations have not been enough to stop this project of
collection of available texts. The first registration was made and
published on my homepage during 1998 . The result was encouraging, with
a lot of contributions for a new edition. I hope the reaction will be
the same for this updated list. If you have any proposals, or
suggestions for improvement, you are welcome to make them. It is
particularly valuable to receive suggestions of suitable texts to be
added to the list. In doing so, please inform me of the following facts:
1. author's name and institution
2. title of the article
3. where it was printed e.g. the journal's name, volume, number, year
and
publisher.
My aim is to update the list twice a year and to distribute it through
relevant listservs and through my homepage
<URL Redacted>.
I have not found any other project of this kind but I hope there is, or
will be, an institution somewhere which is willing to take it on as its
responsibility. If anyone knows anything about such an alternative,
please let me know because I will avoidduplication of work.

Your contribution is welcome.
Karl Montan
