Title:
Bilateral BK skiing prostheses
Text:
I am working with a client to design bilateral transtibial prostheses to be
used specifically for downhill skiing. Nothing particularly remarkable in the
client's medical history, physical presentation or prosthesis use history. We
are using silicone suction in the current set of standard prostheses but are
considering a very simple design for the skiing prostheses as they will be
used infrequently.
Any design suggestions for the sockets, suspension, components, alignment
etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
