Hello Tony,
I am an amputee from Sydney. When I need a new prosthesis I have to attend
the amputee Clinic where a limb is prescribed by the doctor who confers with
the prothetist who attends the clinic also. I am then given a list of the
Limb companies that I can attend. I choose where to go from the list. My son
who is in High School enquired about becoming a prothetist and was told you
must have a four year university degree from Monash University in Melbourne.
