Can anyone provides some assistance on the requirement for other non third world countries???

What countries require a license to practise the O&P trade/profession?
Are there oversight compliance agencies that monitor the quality of work and determine pricing of components?

I do not know of licensing law in any countries apart from the UK.
Here in the UK there are stringent requirements and training before
anyone can apply their services as a prosthetist/orthotist. The
minimum is a 3 year university degree and post graduate
qualifications are desirable.
