Mr. Taggart,
Bravo for your suggestion of the use of the delete key....the preferred
way to avoid messages which are distasteful or unwelcome for anyone.
But that can also be a way of avoiding legitimate issues. Your call for
Clinical, please certainly cannot be seen to exclude discussions here
re consolidation, which is hardly clinical. You denigrate insistent
comment as 'preaching' whereas if there were response to the content a
legitimate and meaningful dialog would ensue....in this manner real
issues are explored.
Use the delete key. Those who wish to can engage in the larger,
non-clinical exchange in addition to responding to the clinical material
which interests them. You cannot really provide your clients with the
best service if you ignore the larger issues. Remember, you are
professionals, not just technicians. GB.
