Hi all
I asked this question before about the consolidation, I was only given a
brief answer regarding this guy. Never what he'll be paid if this
consolidation job goes though.
I forgot to talk about this before, but at the AAOP meeting in New Orleans,
there was a guy, (Victor?), pacing up and down during the consolidation
session.
I asked him what he was doing there, the spin answer, he was helping out,
but not getting much money.
The question is who is this guy, and what is his connection to this
consolidation?
Will he get paid when we vote on going to consolidation, and how much.
How much has he gotten paid so for?
I hope the people that recommend the consolidation are not the people that
will get paid by implementing consolidation.
I'm voting NO, it is not because I don't like change, I'm voting no because
it allows the elite of this profession to have more control. That same mind
set has not helped the profession, but has addressed only how to get higher
on the ladder of OandP. I know I am going to get flak for the previous
comment, but we wait for the Medical Community to show us how to do our job.
What one item has been created by our leaders that increase our work load?
The real point is not protecting the past but creating new things/concepts
that increase our work.
The consolidation will allow the new Org. to control the board of directors
of ABC in a few years, there is not enough of spread in who votes for the
BOD of ABC to keep this from happening. I have thought of the voting
structure of course it is confusing, but I feel this consolidation will
allow non certify persons to have control over time. We will have more
members though.
That's all for now.
