Perhaps this is the thing with kick-backs: the insurance company gives a
contract to a facility on the condition that they bill for eg in this case
$1500 per day and then return $1300 of that sum to the ins. co.. Why? To
use up the stated maximum quickly and to deter patient stays no matter the
need. GB.
