At the end of this month , representatives and prosthetists of the Barr Foundation will be traveling to Belize ,Central America with the LEAP Foundation and Rob Kistenberg, CP Leap Prosthetic Director, to provide artificial limbs to amputees within the region.
 If any of O&P subcribers,manufacturers and prosthetists, have on inventory the following components that can be delivered to Texas prior to May 26- please contact me via private e-mail and I will provide to you the destination address.
As a non profit tax excempt organization we will provide you with the Barr Foundation's federal tax ID # for your tax records .
We would also recognize you as a WHERE HOPE MEETS HELP Donor club member as seen on our web site at www.oandp.com/barr

Inventory Required:

 complete BK units (socket, adaptor, pipe, sach foot adaptor)
 BK socket adaptors
 rotatable adaptors with 5RI blocks (4R5I adaptors)
 Pyramid 4R42 AK socket adaptors
 Rotatable 4R4I AK socket adaptors
 misc length short pylon pipes
 2R2 pipe with 4R52 adaptor
 3R32 disarticulation knee
 mens right sach foot, size 26 with single axis 2R10 adaptor
 womens left sach foor size 22 with single axis 2R10 adaptor
 complete BK endo systems
 Socket attachment blocks, pylons female pyramid adapters, foot plate adapters, tube clamp adapters, etc.

 Regardless of the manufacturer, we will be able to use them.
 feet- Size 22-27 rights and lefts. As water resistant as possible.

 For one patient, above elbow amputee, we will require the Hosmer E-400 elbow, a friction
wrist unit and a Right terminal device (hook or hand).

Since the objectives for this trip are to 1) introduce the Barr Foundation
to the work that has been completed in Belize and the existing facilities,
2)provide follow-up evaluations for patients 3) evaluate new patients and
4)contact other potential partners, some components may remain in storage until the team returns in August.
