I agree with every sentiment displayed recently concerning the appropriate name
for patients, subjects, customers, clients, whatever. The answers to this
dilemma are really simply point-of-view and can easily be solved between the
amputee and their prosthetist on an individual basis. There is nothing for us
to solve here, really. Therefore, before this deteriorates further into the
name calling and animosity displayed months ago concerning U.S. politics, can we
agree to disagree and let everyone go about their business. This site has
tremendous potential to assist us all with solution oriented problems. Can we
stick to that? Or if this must be discussed further, perhaps not posting
communication to the listserv would help.
