Richard & Steve,
I agree with you 100% !! I have to say I was somewhat 'sickened' when I
saw this today. Ads, whether or not endorsed by ABC, do not belong in
the Registry. But I feel that this is nothing but an attempt to 'SHOW'
us how financially drained the organizations are, that they have to
resort to these adds to stay viable. In other words Please vote for
consolidation. Oh the stories that have been told so far !!!
I urge everyone to talk to the different members of the Boards as I did
in New Orleans, the stories to be told,(off the record, of course) are
TOTALLY different than what some would have you believe. I have a hard
time understanding how the Boards can endorse consolidation when so many
of the individual members (of those boards) DO NOT actually believe in
the consolidation process. As a matter of fact, I only spoke with one
board member who was for consolidation, on or off the record.(I did not
speak with every board member of the different org's, only 6 or 7
members).
Fellow Practioners, what it comes down to is MONEY. I know that it's
not right, but that is the way it is. Ask yourself one question, Who
is to benefit monetarily from the consolidation ?
I rest my case.
Respectfully yours,
E. Reed Coleman, C.P.
