Dear Bill

I think Willbur's comments are very valid. However I would think that if you
were using the same componets that the patient had previously used and the
patients physical parameters had not eclipsed the manufacturers
recommendations that there would not be a liability issue. This is for a
prosthesis that you originally made yourself and know that the componets
were new to begin with. This is the only case in which I would recommend
doing this.
