Before I vote I
would like to hear more from the steering committee who should understand the
issues best. There are some on the committee that I do not recall hearing from
on consolidation in a written form. I know how busy everyone is when holding
office, but as a society in the information age this is what is expected.
Bravo! The one lesson learned from all the communication on this list and
elsewhere is that the issues involved are much more intertwined than I imagined.
I am truly trying to become informed and appreciate all the postings from everyone
involved, they have been helpful. I too will be looking foreword to the steering
committees official recommendations, along with the proposed bylaws. There is
still all of spring and summer to educate ourselves on the issues and I hope I
don't get sea sick from jumping the fence from pro to con and back again on almost
a daily basis (although I do seem to lean towards the con side of things more
frequently). I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of time over the next few
months kicking back and trying to read some fine print, maybe I will need to have
my eyeglass prescription updated beforehand. Keep up the communication
everybody!
