Dear Gyln
The legislation and consolidation discussions that you have improperly labeld obscured, will determine O&P coverages and image of the profession for years to come including possible increased O&P benefits for consumers(of which I am one) and reimbursement levels for professionals .Could also effect supply of U. S made components to the UK.
There are some DME dealers that could use the work in the UK if they are needed!
Many of our manufacturers /suppliers and association members (OSSUR-ICEROSS included) have manufacturing plants here and there. These issues directly effect us but perhaps not you but In order to continue to maintain good relations with our UK neighbors and change the subject ,as you requested ,what role do you play in the O&P equation?
Live with it ,unsubscribe or delete if you have no interest in what options US consumers and practitioners are presently facing from a unregulated industry.Your country's health coverage policies maybe better suited and fairer for the consumer there than they are here. This is an international media listserve that does not require your permission or scrutiny so perhaps you may want to learn to operate your computer properly without loosing more important messages! May I suggest you get some more sleep too.It does rain there alot doesnt it ?
Have a nice day!:)

Please please please change the subject.! I cannot seem to leave my
e-mail post box for a couple of days without it being invaded by a
profusion of messages about what is to many people, obscure
legislature which is relevant to practitioners in only one country.
Not only is this invasion dedious but as a busy man it puts me into
auto cancel mode for reasons of expediance. Another problem is that
I may cancel important messages in my post box, as an overwhelming
desire to eradicate the pestulence that continually invades it, over
rides my natural urge to retain that information which is useful to
me.
