Dear members,
Hi, My name is Nelly Shaw. I am a second year student on a clinical
placement at Geelong Hospital.
I am currently researching the options available for conservative
orthotic management of a complete tear of the posterior cruciate
ligament that occurred 6 months ago. The case study depicts the patient
as a high level footballer, who requires stability while playing, so it
also needs to be lightweight, durable and slim-lined.
What are clinicians prescribing/fitting for this type of knee
deficiency?
What componentry and designs are the most appropriate?
What are the pre-fabricated/patented options?
