I am currently involved in the finite element modelling of Below Knee
sockets (for my PhD research), in particular the modelling of the soft
liners and the interface between the hard socket and soft tissue. I have
just completed an initial study modelling polyurethane gel liner material
and have started to get some interesting results. The model is non-linear
and has been experimentally validated.

If anyone is doing similar work I would like to get in touch.

Thanks for your time

Christine Fisher.
