My question centers around my return to the normal life (habits) I
enjoyed prior to my accident. I am a right AK amp who still enjoys
Harley Davidson's and off-shore sport fishing.

I have encountered difficulties with both hobbies regarding the
artificial foot appendage. On the bike the cumbersome foot tends to
vibrate off the right running board (police bike). On my sport fishing
boat, the foot pattern is not well adapted for rolling seas (constant
battle for ballance once I exit the chair for gaffing the fish).

I'm looking for a company that can engineer and build me an artificial
leg that mimics the old peg leg below the knee (no foot). I have already
designed the bike to split the heel-toe shift on the left side to a back
foot brake and front shift mechanism. The right side running board will
have a bolted miniature funnel appropriately placed to accommodate the
insertion of a peg foot (keeps right leg from vibrating off the running
board). As for the boat, the peg could be locked by weight distribution
and balance transferred to the knee unit during standup fishing.

Now would it be fun to walk on, probably not...but it's a part-time leg
meant solely for these purposes.

Any suggestions for companies out there that still make these legs with
an active knee unit?
