Does anyone know of an orthosis that can be used for a patient who has what
can best described as a pigeon toe gait. Her right hip seem to internally
rotate when standing and walking. This causes the front of her right shoe
to hit the back of her left shoe as the leg swings through, causing many
falls.
l am trying to locate a simple orthosis that will decrease the internal
rotation at the right hip and subsequently straighten the right foot during
swing phase. Can anyone help?
Thanks P. Kenny <Email Address Redacted>
