Congratulations Ron Gingras ,FAOP,Pat O'Connell ,O&P professionals, and to the thousands of consumers and Florida citizens who strongly supported regulation and this Medicaid effort.Even the skeptics that were unsure about of O&P regulation have nothing but praise for the immediate benefits that have already been generated. The Florida O&P regulation bill is the legislative model of the country and thanks to the dedicated work of members of the State of Florida Board of Orthotics and Prosthetists and the O&P Task Force, it has put real teeth in it's meaning to truly assist the elderly and physically challenged in Florida to better ensure quality comprehensive O&P care.
