Xeroradiography is an x-ray technique that uses photo paper instead of the
usual transparency film. It is a superior technique for visualizing soft
tissue structures. It also utilizes as much as eight times as much x-ray
exposure as a conventional x-ray. For this reason it is rejected as a
fitting technique by many responsible physicians. It must be remembered
that x-ray exposure dosage is calculated as a lifetime total. Not by
individual events.
