Our son is a recent amputee due to a motorcycle accident on Aug l5, 1997. His
amputation is on the left and includes his left butt and is cut on an angle
to his waist. Due to the amount of pressure on the right buttock when
sitting, we are looking for any info regarding seating both for his
wheelchair and for seating in general. We are also interested in any info
regarding a prosthesis (full leg and something similar to an artificial
butt cheek for the left side.) Currently he is able to tolerate sitting
for only 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Thank you for any info you may be able
to provide.
