Hello All,
I am a second year MSPO student at the University of Pittsburgh inviting you to participate in my research capstone titled, A Comparison of two Methods of Spinal Orthosis Fabrication. The goal of this research capstone is to determine which fabrication method, the traditional plaster or modern CAD/CAM, is considered more efficient by clinicians and technicians nation-wide, specifically regarding spinal orthoses. We are interested in learning about where on the continuum each method lies and various factors that contribute to this perception.
Your participation is entirely voluntary and you can stop filling out the survey at any time if you change your mind. The estimated duration of participation is 10 minutes to complete this survey. There are no risks associated with this study because even in the event of a data breach, the obtained information will not be critical or identifiable. Data without identifiers may be shared with researchers outside of this study team. There is no direct benefit or compensation, financial or otherwise, for participation in this study. Please complete all required questions before submitting the survey. If you are a CPO, CO, or technician who fabricates spinal orthotics, please consider taking this survey.
To participate, please click here: <URL Redacted>
Please pass along this survey to any CPOs, COs, or technicians you know. We are hoping to collect as much information as possible to share our findings with the field.
Thank you for your time and input.
