Hello.
My name is Emily Micik and I am inviting you to participate in a research survey aimed at assessing clinicians' use of adjustable prosthetic sockets. You DO NOT NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE in fitting one of these sockets before to participate; one of the aims of this study is to assess how prevalent use of these types of sockets are, so your responses are still very valuable if you are not experienced with adjustable sockets. We are interested in how familiar clinicians are with these style of sockets, and what kinds of benefits and/or challenges they have experienced when using these sockets with their patients.
This survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete, and at the end you may choose to enter your contact information to be entered into a drawing for compensation (no personal information will be collected if you choose to decline entering). This research has been approved by the University of Michigan Health Sciences and Behavioral Sciences Institutional Review Board. Please refer to study number HUM00177532 for more information, or reply to this message.
