Ready for a unique request? read on! we have a 40yr old gunshot victim x 20yrs with a unique challenge. His left knee has an extension contracture with extension tone that can be ranged from full extension to approximately -60 degrees flexion. The problem is his knee tends to extend. He would like something that will lock his knee in a flexed position while transferring from WC to car, WC to toilet etc. Currently his knee remains in full extension making transfers difficult in particular into his car. We have looked for knee joints that ratchet lock into various positions without extension bias. In particular, we need a solidly locked knee joint position that will be maintained regardless of tone or some weight bearing. Height 5 10 190lbs.

Suggestions?
