Dear members of Orthotic and Prosthetics,

My name is Michael Walker, and I am a Master's of Science candidate in
the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State
University. Along with my advisor (Dr. Jessica Menold) and a team of
researchers, I am interested in studying the decision-making
strategies of amputee care providers in an effort to optimize the
prescription process in developing countries. students. Information
and results obtained from this study will be used to gain insight into
effective prescription processes.

As a first step, we have built an interactive survey for practicing
clinicians and healthcare providers to understand how decision making
strategies may vary across two case studies. You are receiving this
email as you are a practicing clinician or health care provider in the
field of prosthetics and orthotics, and your participation in this
study would greatly advance the research. If you are willing to
participate you will be asked to review two case studies and answer a
series of follow-up questions. We anticipate participation will take
between 10-15 minutes.

Please click on the following link to begin the survey:
<URL Redacted>

This study is being conducted under approval of the Institutional
Review Board, and appropriate documents can be provided upon request.

Thank you,
Michael Walker
