Hands-On Orthotic Exam Preparation Seminar
Saturday, April 4, 2020
8:00 am-5:30 pm
Shriners Hospitals for Children, Tampa, FL
The new one-day format allows for focused learning.
* Review six modules that you may encounter at the Clinical Patient Management Exam.
The modules include AFO evaluation and casting, LE & UE MMT/ROM, Spinal measurement, Gait analysis, AFO/KAFO design, and Scoliosis
* Experience hands-on simulations and interact with patient models.
Registration Fee: $300
Includes all course materials, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments
This seminar is only open to Academy student and resident members (ideally those who are within six months of taking the ABC exam), as well as board-eligible orthotist members.
Class size is limited to 20 participants.

FACULTY MEMBERS
Sarah Thomas, CPO, FAAOP, has ten years of experience running and administering in-person preparatory exam simulations. Sarah is the owner and vice president of Bio-Medic Appliances in Essex Junction, Vermont. Sarah is the Vice President of the Academy's Board of Directors.
Kris Dejardinis, CPO/LPO, FAAOP, is an American Board of Certification (ABC) certified prosthetist and orthotist at the Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics Rockville, MD patient care center. Kris has over a decade of experience specializing in lower limb orthotics and is a member of the Academy's Gait Society and Craniofacial Society.
